Salaam from Munchen
Am now in Munchen waiting for my train at 6:42 AM. Jaeger my place here has mobile broadband and within walking distance of the Munchen Haupbanhof (the german can be really a mouthful). Did Bordeaux, Toulouse, Marseille, Aix-en-Provence, Nice, Lyon and the wonderful and beautiful Swiss Alps.
Marseille and Aix are really interesting. Ate Buillaibaise in Marseille.. for a bloody fish soup it can be bloody expensive!!!
Accepted coffee from Mr. Antoine Monier at Les Deux Garcons (where everyone including Cezanne and Satre drank). Tony is not only handsome :) but speaks perfect Anglais for a French, since he was a banker in England and now doing property development in Southern France.
Monaco must truly be a millionaire paradise. I don't think anybody who are not in the millionaire club can afford to have a place and stay there. Every building and apartments are really beautiful. A rich man playground.
Passed by Cannes and Nice - the French Riviera and Cote d'Azur. Beautiful sceneries along the way. I think the Mediterranean weather suits me best! Cool yet sunny and beautiful plants and ambiance.
Now in Munchen, my second time around. Munich is a vibrant place.. similar ambiance to Berlin but more cultured and refined. I really like Munchen a lot. There're also huge museums within walking distance as well as the BMW museum. Halal food is easy in Munchen compared to other German cities and I love the facts everything is within walking distance including the parks and museums.
Have to run to Strasbourg before Paris this afternoon coz Kak Fatimah wants me to go diamond shopping with her in Antwerpen.. not my kind of thing (coz I can ony afford carrots) but..it will be interesting just to tag along. I will try to do Den Hague and then visit Nan, Ronald and Enno in Amsterdam.
OK got to run to the station now coz my train is at 6:42AM can't missed this one like I did yesterday! ):
